In California, there are three OSHA training centers. The OSHA Training Center (OTC) at Chabot-Las Positas Community College District is located in Dublin, California, and has been offering training since 2008. Its courses focus on construction, maritime, and general industry. The second center is the California State University Dominguez Hills training center located in Carson, which offers construction, general industry, maritime, and petroleum industry courses. Lastly, the OSHA Training Institute Education Center at the University of California, San Diego located in La Jolla offers original safety courses in addition to OSHA authorized training.
OSHA is a division of the United States Department of Labor that is charged with ensuring safe working conditions among employees in the country.
