OSHA is well known for its involvement in workplace safety. One of the measures OSHA has in place to encourage workplace safety and curb violations is creating beneficial partnerships with safety-focused organizations via its Alliance Program. Among OSHA’s partnerships is its relationship with the Job Corps Center.
The Job Corps program is dedicated to providing academic education classes and vocational training to young adults in a tuition-free residential program. The partnership between OSHA and Job Corps serves the purpose of improving and expanding upon the curriculum available at Job Crops.
Job Corps is only one example, as the OSHA Alliance Program partners with organizations nationwide, including unions, educational institutions, and other relevant groups.
