1. Education. Participants will learn how to sing and play an instrument, using music as a tool to improve mental health and overall well-being. Through music, individuals will learn or relearn to interact positively with family, friends, and society.
2. Performance. Individuals will perform at multiple venues, allowing them to practice their new musical and interpersonal skills.
3. Coaching. Military veterans will receive mentoring and coaching that encourages them to make positive life choices. Mentors, music coaches, and group sessions will specifically encourage participants to say no to alcohol, drugs, and other harmful substances, while working to improve self-esteem and both communication and interpersonal skills.
